'N' marks the spot on the 2018 Honda Accord

The Honda Accord received a beautiful redesign for the 2018 model year and at Honda of Covington the midsize sedan's new looks have been getting a lot of attention. There's one unique feature that can be easy to overlook, though, and we wanted to bring it to the attention of Android smartphone users!

When you come into our Covington, LA dealership for a test drive of the 2018 Honda Accord, take a look to the right of the touchscreen. You'll noticed a faint, stylized 'N' on the dash detailing. The 'N' stands for near-field communication and it's an easy way to pair your Bluetooth Android with the vehicle without having to physically use your device. It's so user-friendly that even a passenger who wants to connect their Android can easily do it on their own without your guidance, allowing you to keep attention on the road ahead.

There are several videos on the Honda Brand YouTube channel that will show you how to traditionally pair your smartphone of any brand and at our dealership after you purchase a new Honda we'll set it up for you. However, we admit the current method has a few steps that can trip people up!

The feature unfortunately isn't available for iPhone users yet, but we imagine that will change sooner rather than later.

This is just one of the many sophisticated, tech-friendly features you'll find on the 2018 Honda Accord. To see what else the sedan has in store, visit our dealership!
